Alexis Deveze is the Chief Executive Officer of Imperio Strategies, LLC., where she leads the development of the organization’s long- and short-term strategies and company operations.
During her previous role as a Senior Account Executive at Southwest Strategies, she focused on supporting development clients with construction outreach, entitlements, and multicultural outreach.
As a lifelong resident of Chula Vista, Alexis has managed and garnered City Council hearing support for Seven Mile Casino’s renewal of their Operating Agreement in addition to managing a social media campaign, Spanish media outreach, and event planning. Her other work included leading community outreach and workshop coordination for developer Tri Pointe Homes San Diego’s proposed Southwest Village Specific Plan project located in south San Diego and community and stakeholder outreach for SANDAG’s South Bay Rapid project. She also has extensive binational experience from SANDAG’s SR 11/Otay Mesa East Port of Entry project where she led multicultural outreach and development and implementation of comprehensive strategic communication programs.
Moreover, Alexis led and launched a mentorship program during her time at Southwest Strategies to cultivate and advocate for diverse leadership across all backgrounds and levels of the company.
Prior to joining Southwest Strategies, Alexis worked for the Office of San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer as a Policy Intern, assisting with federal and water policy, binational affairs, and community outreach.
Alexis serves as the Co-Chair for The Lincoln Club of San Diego County’s Membership Committee.
Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Social Psychology from San Diego State University. Her studies also include an International Relations program at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
